Artist Commentary: Years ago, my wife and I used to wonder if there was any place left on earth where the Church was the true heart of the community and children its treasure. We weren’t sure, but I promised to paint it for her. This is the painting I made. A winter scene, chilly. But the human hearts, the homes, and the tabernacle are warm.
