Artist's commentary:  This image portrays the moment when Jesus transforms water into wine, and the servant has just discovered the miracle. Our Lady quietly plays her part in this hidden moment that prefigures the later public miracles of Jesus. For the young couple who are married this day, there will be many times during the years to come when they will feel that “they have no wine.” If they turn to him in prayer and hopeful confidence, then the presence of Christ in their sacrament of marriage will bring about transformation.
