Artist Commentary: A serene landscape, sea, earth, mountains, sky — vistas of the transcendent, the natural world as metaphor. The three boats are beached, the fishermen have left their nets to follow the Lord.... Can you hear the bell of the church ringing in the clear air? Can you hear the voice of the Lord ringing in your heart, calling you to follow him?
