The fruits of the beautiful tree beckon, begging to be eaten. Does the tree belong to the boy or to another? Will it be stolen fruit or is it free for the taking? In the background are three shadowy trees which are portents of Calvary. This painting does not answer questions; it merely asks them. | |||||
